Abstract

The study was conducted to identify energy-efficient technologies for cultivating winter wheat varieties by optimizing plant protection systems (including chemical and biological agents) and mineral nutrition (micro- and macrofertilizers). The work was conducted from 2022 to 2025 in Nizhny Novgorod region. Field experiment scheme included the following options: winter wheat variety (factor A) — Moskovskaya 39 (standard), Moskovskaya 40, Moskovskaya 56, Moskovskaya 82, Nemchinovskaya 17, Nemchinovskaya 57, Nemchinovskaya 85; mineral nutrition level (factor B) — no fertilizers (control), N10P30K30 + N50 as top dressing, N20P60K60 + N100 as top dressing; biologically active preparations (factor C) — no treatment, spraying plants with Nanokremnie (100 g/ha) in spring at the tillering stage, pre-sowing seed treatment with Vostok EM-1 (100 ml/t), spraying plants with Vostok EM-1 (500 ml/ha) at the tillering stage. Moskovskaya 82 variety, adapted to local soil and climatic conditions, turned out to be the leader in productivity. Its yield reached 7.30 t/ha, which exceeded the standard Moskovskaya 39 variety by 1.33 t/ha (22.3%). The use of mineral fertilizers at doses of N10P30K30 + N50 and N20P60K60 + N100 contributed to an increase in yield, compared to the unfertilized background, by 0.39 and 0.52 t/ha, respectively. An energy assessment of technologies showed the advantage of using Vostok EM-1 biopreparation. The highest energy efficiency coefficient in the experiment was noted with pre-sowing seed inoculation (3.58) and when spraying plants during the tillering phase (3.57), which is higher than the value of this indicator in the variants without treatment (3.55) and with the use of Nanokremniy microfertilizer (3.53).
